Portland is bringing us no shortage of fashion events this year, and the month of September is no exception. As we lead up to the much-anticipated Portland Fashion Week 2010, we can feast our eyes upon a range of local designs for any audience.
For you trendy rockers out there, Doomtown Productions/Sweet F.A. will be holding their second show of the year on Saturday, September 4th at Berbati’s Pan in SW downtown. Tickets are $8 in advance, or $10 at the door to attend this Rock & Roll Fashion Show, and features music performances by The Black Mercies and DiscJockey Gregarious.
“How Soiled Is Too Soiled?” Find out on Sunday, September 18th, as we join Rio Wrenn of R.A.W. Textiles, and other eco-friendly designers at Disjecta Interdisciplinary Art Center for the ‘Pre-Soiled Couture‘ art and fashion show, free to the public. Wrenn recently participated in the Lady Gaga pre-concert fashion show held at the Rose Garden earlier this month. September’s event will include music from Portland’s own DJ Anjali, as well as an earthy dance performance by Nylaresh.
